Technical Services Carolina Computers provides a wide array of computer technical services. In the instance where a service is required by our customers and we cannot provide that service, we will assist you in finding a reliable solution. Configuration The company will configure your computer equipment to your specifications and install your licensed software. This service includes a burn-in period to ensure that your computer will be functioning productively at the time of installation. Installation Your computer equipment can be installed at your chosen location with a minimum of interference with your daily activities. If the newly installed system replaces an existing system, your data can be backed up and re-installed on the new system by our personnel. Our personnel can then re-deploy the older system or prepare it for disposal. End of Lease, Re-deployment or Disposal In keeping with the company's philosophy of Life Cycle Management, we provide several service options for the end of the life of your computer system. Our personnel can prepare your system for it's final destination by clearing your hard drive of sensitive information, packaging the system and delivering it per your instructions. Warranty and on-going System Maintenance Carolina Computers maintains manufacturer trained technicians in all of it's locations to provide our customers with diagnostic and repair services on all of their computer systems and peripherals. Manufacturer's warranty services can be provided by Carolina Computers for certain manufacturers1. Service contracts are available from the company to augment and/or extend the manufacturers warranty. Service contracts can include assistance with repair services where Carolina Computers is not authorized to provide the warranty service. 1 For a list of manufacturers whose equipment the company is authorized to perform warranty services, see the Products page. |
